Christmas at the Neblett Center!
The Junior Board had a wonderful afternoon making Christmas ornaments with the kids at the Neblett Center! Although, it did get very messy.....they all had a great time! The ornaments made were all of natural materials and made great food for birds and other animals. A new tree was planted on the grounds of the Neblett Center by the Junior Board members. Thanks to Watkins Nursery we had a very healthy spruce tree to plant! Also, thank you to the Neblett Center for allowing us to share with the children ways to make even the holidays a conservation friendly time! The Junior Board and Daviess County Conservation Board hope that the holiday season was wonderful for all; and hope that in upcoming celebrations we can remember that a little conservation of resources we already have on hand can go a long way!
